7/3/2025 0 Comments GC ExhibitorIt's finally here. I'm at the largest convention for our church with over 50,000 people estimated to come in.
It was my dream ever since I was a teenager to have a booth at this convention selling comic books. 5 years ago that almost became a reality. I had applied even before that to be an exhibitor, but they usually work with officially recognized organizations of our church, but after seeing my work and hearing my story, they made an exception for me. So my dream was coming true. I was going to be a vendor at GC in 2020, but then the pandemic happened and the in-convention was cancelled. I got to be a digital vendor which created a lot of exposure, but it's not the same as actually being in front of people physically. But now for the first time in 10 years the church as a whole is coming together in this massive scale. I almost missed out. There were email issues where I didn't get the notice. I sent in an appeal, to be an exhibitor, the director told me that he really liked my stuff and wanted me there, because of its unique nature, but the application period was closed, but if anyone cancelled or if more room becomes available, he will let me and others who were waiting in. After months of anticipation, I was notified that I would be able to come. So the dream is happening. I am now able to get my comic books in front of thousands of people from around the world. If you are near St. Louis Missouri, come to the America's Convention Center and find me. I'm at booth #336. You can take a picture with Daniel or Nebuchadnezzar, get a free bookmark, and of course secure your copy of our comic books. If you can't make it to the convention, feel free to Support us online.

On January 14 I got to return to Manhattan Christian Academy. This was made possible because of the contributions from sponsors from our email list and Facebook. They were able to raise enough during our sponsor youth campaign.
10/29/2021 4 Comments First In-Person PresentationThank you so much for supporting this Daniel Dreamgazer event. The whole goal of Daniel Dreamgazer was to provide a Daniel Seminar like no one has ever seen. One with comic book style illustrations accompanied with dramatic storytelling and voices. I had the chance to do that at the Manhattan Christian Academy 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. From the moment the teacher introduced my brother and I as comic book creators they were already making ‘ooo’ sounds. Then I started telling the story of Daniel chapter 1: “In A Strange Land”. They were fixated in. Shocked at the death of one of the soldiers. Laughed during humorous moments when the names of the main characters were being changed. They were totally invested. And when I ended the chapter by saying “to be continued” they were like “aww” I followed it up with a quiz at the end. The kids were excited to answer the questions. Then I told them that you guys paid for them to receive comic books each. They were shocked and so thrilled as they tried to contain themselves in their seats. They couldn’t believe it. They said thank you so many times. They couldn’t stop saying thank you.

1/25/2021 0 Comments Kickstarter for Book 3 LaunchI am excited to announce that the KICKSTARTER funding campaign for Book 3 for the Daniel Dreamgazer series is now active.
Every year the Pawling Resource Center gives gift packages to families in need in the community. The church I pastor in Pawling decided to participate by donating 24 grocery gift cards to be given to these families. I decided to run a funding campaign in order to provide Daniel Dreamgazer books with these gift cards. So I sent a message to my email list and put posts on facebook. People responded and we were able to raise more than enough books. In each book I placed a personalized message that the backers choose to say along with their name (for those who chose for it to be mentioned). This provided a nice personal touch. Then I packed the Daniel Dreamgazer book and the gift cards in a nice slip case. The campaign was a success. We shot passed the 24 books goal. We actually reached 41 books! Praise God. So I was able to have 24 books packed with gift cards, and I was able to pack 17 other books to bless some extra families. When I delivered these books to the Pawling Resource Center last week, the director's face beamed. She was so impressed with what the church and what the backers had done. Terry, the director gives her thanks to all who made this possible. For those who may have missed this opportunity, the next place where I want to donate books is the Children's Village. Visit our Sponsor Youth page in order to donate a book to a young person.
